That's really bizzare. In my case, the novice went away and professional spawned once I defeated my fourth named opponent. All advice I can give is, go talk to Zoltan about how you've beaten people in poker, and if you've already done that, try to defeat the novice players again. Maybe the game didn't register them properly, or something.
